It becomes clear that railroad crossing became the cause of death in Tohoku earthquake. When Kobe earthquake happened we could not commute to the company because all railroad crossing were closed even all trains already stopped. Our company is treating farmable products, so less works can cause larger risk. It is already very clear that all railroad crossing should be opened when big earthquake happens. We cannot escape especially by car from tsunami or fire. I really doubt about the safe consideration of rail companies. They do not want to kill anyone, though, it seems like they do not be careful for death by traffic (escape road) shutout. This is another item that Japan government takes action.
